During the last 12 years, Richard Lasner has presented Italy through a wide range of imagery and has created a remarkable portfolio of large-scale, limited edition prints. The 20 new works being exhibited for the first time are beautifully colored images, ranging from cityscapes to landscapes and from architecture to nature.

The vibrant nightlife of Rome presents opportunities to explore after-dark photography in the Piazza del Popolo. The shimmering waterways, palazzi and counter-angled rooftops of Venice are shown in lushly toned compositions. A small town in the mountains of Abruzzo provides a tranquil backdrop for a Sunday morning exploration. There are soft, dawnlit images of a port on the Ligurian coast just south of Cinque Terre and painterly, three dimensional vistas from Puglia, Piedmont and Tuscany.

Mr. Lasner’s museum quality prints are created through the application of archival water based inks and dyes onto textured fine art paper.
